AB Mass Communication Major in NSTP.

7:00 AM - My mom woke me up, saying "Gising na, baka ma-late ka sa NSTP." I just shrugged. There's no way in hell I'm gonna be late for an LTS class. The professors are always late. And it's the first class, so I'm sure the prof's gonna show up at 9 AM.

I arrived at school at 8:20. I went to CS 410, much to my disbelief. (The fourth floor. MY GOLLY.) Anddddd my professor was already there. What the freak?

So we prayed the Adamsonian Prayer. Good thing I already memorized it. Having transferred to Adamson from UST, it's really hard to adjust to new prayers and hymns. But when the professor made us sing the Adamson Hymn, oh boy. I did not sing because I don't know the song. It would be disrespectful if I tried to sing it when I know that I really can't. Then the professor suddenly called my attention and asked me why I'm not singing. I simply answered because I was a transferee. And I thought that was the end of the conversation. I was wrong.

The prof made us sit down. I asked my seatmate if it was okay that I sit beside him. He said yes. And suddenly, the prof called me again and said, "Why are you talking? You have plenty of time to talk later. Why did you not sing the Adamson Hymn? Because you are a transferee? From where? And when?"

But before I can answer, he said I will be singing the hymn next meeting. What the fudgeeeee. What the hell is wrong with you, sir?! Seriously?! I do not know the song because I am only taking my Theology subjects now. I have no one to teach me the song. Can you not understand that?

Then he made us introduce ourselves. We were expected to tell our names, year and courses, and our organizations or affiliations in school. Then it was my turn.

Me: I am Jianne.. Blabla.. I am a member of AUMACOMMS, and a writer for Papyrus, the department's official publication.

Sir: You consider yourself a writer and yet you cannot sing the Adamsonian Hymn?

Me: *Getting pissed* Sir, I am a writer, not a singer.

Sir: Your loyalty to Adamson is questionable.

Me: I WILL SING THE ADAMSONIAN HYMN NEXT MEETING. I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT.

He really got to my nerves after that. I mean, who does he think he is?! I love Adamson, and as far as he is concerned, he does not know a thing about my loyalty to Adamson. Really. I am proud of being an Adamsonian. Would I transfer to Adamson from UST if I am not?

Then he gave his supeeeeerrrrr yawn-inducing lesson about who the hell cares. There's a quiz next meeting, and tons of activities. Wow. I can see how passionate he is for NSTP. I admire him for that. But pleaseeee sir, can you try not to be so annoying?

So for him not to think that I despise him and that I am afraid of him, I looked into his eyes the whole meeting. I'm not afraid of you. I'll show you. I'll show you how wrong you are.
